Spider-Man Miles Morales Update | Fixes and Improvements

Insomniac Games has released a new Spider-Man Miles Morales update featuring several fixes.

Version 1.05 (PS4)/1.005 (PS5) fixes various issues which could result in the screen going black while changing the time of day.

It also fixes a problem that stopped players from changing suits in photo mode and resolves an issue which meant the weather didn’t change correctly when selected by players.

The update includes unspecified stability improvements too, Insomniac says.

Earlier this week the studio released an update for Marvel’s Spider-Man which allows the transfer of saving files from PS4 to the PS5 remaster.

The patch also included ray-tracing improvements and additional fixes, including the resolution of a crash that occurred when putting the game into rest mode.

Currently, the only way to access Spider-Man Remastered is via the $70/£70 Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which comes bundled with a download code for Remastered and all three installments of The City That Never Sleeps DLC.

Current-gen owners who purchase Miles Morales can upgrade to the ‘standard’ next-gen version for free or pay an additional $20 fee to receive the Ultimate version which includes the remaster.

VGC’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales review called it “a beautiful, satisfying game with a gripping story”.
